🎉 New Feature Alert: Send Voice Notes & Video Messages Through LeadDec!
We’ve just rolled out a brand new update inside LeadDec that’s going to massively level up the way you follow up with leads and clients.
You can now send voice notes and video messages directly from your LeadDec account, both as one-off messages and inside your automations.
This means more personal, powerful conversations with zero extra effort.
Read on to see why it’s such a game changer, how it works, and some quick tips to get started.
💬 Why voice notes & videos are a big deal
Ever feel like your texts and emails just blend in with the rest?
Now, imagine your prospect picks up their phone and there’s a personal voice note or video from you, using their name, talking to them like a real person.
✅ Builds instant trust
✅ Feels personal (because it is)
✅ Stands out from the usual boring text follow-ups
✅ Converts way more people into bookings & paying clients
Whether you’re sending a quick voice note to thank someone for booking a trial, or dropping them a little video to explain their next steps, it’s now super easy inside LeadDec.
🔥 How to use this new feature
You can use this in two simple ways:
1️⃣ Send as a one-time message
• Upload a voice note or video file directly into the chat with your contact.
• Perfect for following up after calls, checking in on trials, or sending quick reminders.
2️⃣ Drop them into automations
• Add voice notes or video clips right into your automated sequences.
• Imagine your nurture flows or consultation follow-ups with a personal touch that triggers automatically.
🚀 How to set it up (in 30 seconds)
• Record your voice note or video on your phone.
👉 Pro tip: Send it to yourself on WhatsApp first — it’ll automatically compress the file so it’s a small, easy upload.
• Download the file to your computer.
✅ Voice notes should be saved as .mp3.
✅ Videos will work straight from WhatsApp downloads.
• Upload inside LeadDec.
• In a direct chat? Click the file upload, add your MP3 or video, hit send.
• In an automation? Open the step, click “Add Attachment”, upload your file, and save.
• Done. Your prospect receives a personal, human message that makes them feel valued (and much more likely to buy).
⚠️ Little things to keep in mind
• Keep videos short & sweet — aim for 15–30 seconds.
• Don’t send in HD or 4K. WhatsApp compresses automatically which helps.
• Always double check the file is under size limits (sending via WhatsApp to yourself first usually sorts this).
👀 Real-world ideas to use it right now
• Send a voice note thanking them for booking a trial.
• Use video to explain their next steps after signing up.
• Add a personal video in your automations after they opt in, welcoming them by name.
• Follow up on missed appointments with a friendly voice message instead of just a text.
